So, come dance with us, rain or shine!
The Central Jersey Dance Society is proud to bring you their 2013 summer dance series starting on Friday evening, May 31st at 7:00 pm. This series is a collaboration with the Princeton Public Library. The series will run every two weeks all on Friday evening through September 6th with the above mentioned 7:00 pm start time ending at 10:00 pm. There is a rain date scheduled for September 20th. So please mark the dates (i.e., 5/31, 6/14, 6/28, 7/12, 7/26, 8/9, 8/23, 9/6) down in your planner.
If you attended one of the three dances last summer you know what incredible, fun evenings they were. Once the music filled the air the dance area on the Hinds Plaza was jammed with dancers jumping in right off the sidewalk. We received such rave reviews from those in attendance it was decided to run eight dances this coming summer.
The music is supplied by our own DJ and CJDS board member Lou Becerra and covers ALL dance disciplines. It is recommended to bring flat bottomed dance sneakers and water and wear light clothing (shorts are allowed). There is no lesson but I can tell you beginners there will be CJDS board members in attendance to show you some of the basic steps to many of the Ballroom and modern dances.
And the best news of all is that they are FREE !!!!!!!!!
We want to cordially thank the Princeton Public Library for their effort and generosity. Their decision to join ranks with the CJDS enables us to spread the enjoyment of the fabulous pastime of dance.
We hope to see you all in attendance.
Bob Bartolino, President, CJDS
