Meet new people and learn this sensuous and cool partner dance that can adapt to styles of music from Hustle to the BLUES, we like Classic R&B think Marvin Gaye to Modern R&B think Beyonce. Our dance instructor, Cliff Marino, is a certified dance instructor, teaching for over 25 years.
In this fun filled and intensive series, Cliff will give you an intimate understanding of the basics of WCS and include exciting funky variations! The music is hot! Your dance card will exponentially increase! We will need enough people to pre-register in order to cover basic expenses so please PRE-REGISTER early to reserve your spot and save $14! Each night will offer 75 - 90 minutes of instruction and 75 - 90 minutes of guided practice / warmup.

WHO: You! and anyone else who'd like to learn West Coast Swing, brush up on their dancing, or simply come to Princeton to practice the basics in West Coast. Ages 14 and up (though if you have kids <14, let's talk). To those who have asked, there's no upper age limit.
WHAT: Mainly 6-count with some 8-count moves, basic technique, musicality, and flashy moves. It'll be a progressive series, but if you have to miss a class we can catch you up during the practice time.

Once again, Lou Becerra of CJDS will conduct a 20 minute workshop to teach raw beginners another new dance. The dance is called East Coast Swing - single step and can be done to many old and new rock and pop songs with faster tempo. We will work on identifyihg the beat and doing just a few of the basics. Don't miss out on learning how to do this dance!
This is a prelude to a one hour lesson beginner/interm lesson at next month's No-Name with renown professional instructor Jackie Stahl of Philadelphia.

A beginner Foxtrot lesson starts at 7PM for 45 minutes. Then Beginner advanced/int Foxtrot lesson starts right after that.
The Broadway Ballroom has been in the Princeton/Lawrenceville area for more than 14 years and Mr. Camden is an award winning teacher.

Beginner Foxtrot lesson starts at 7PM for 45 minutes. Then a beginner advanced Foxtrot lesson starts right after that for another 45 minutes. A total of 90 minutes of lesson! It will be taught by the Broadway Ballroom's Chief instructor and owner, Mr. Del Camden.
After the lesson, stay for the Ballroom mix dance party DJ by Michelle and Bob of MB Music.
1 and 1/2 hour of Foxtrot lesson, plus 3 hours of non stop ballroom dancing, plus free parking and delicious snack, all for a price of $12. Students with valid school ID even get a discount ($8).

Let's dance under the stars at the beautiful Hinds' Plaza outside of Princeton Library! There will be a dance mix of your favorite swing, cha cha, rumba, salsa, merengue, hustle, west coast swing, night club 2-step, bachata, tango, and a couple of slow waltz and foxtrot.
It is outside and it is totally free!
NO PARTNER NEEDED, JUST COME OUT AND HAVE FUN. ENJOY THE MUSIC AND ATMOSPHERE. LEATHER SHOES RECOMMENDED. STONE PAVED COURTYARD. HINDS PLAZA, ON WITHERSPOON ST. NEXT TO THE PRINCETON PUBLIC LIBRARY. LOVELY TREE LINED PLAZA, LIGHTED FOR NIGHT-TIME DANCING. BRING YOUR OWN WATER AND PICNIC DINNER, OR DO TAKE-OUT FROM DOZENS OF LOCAL RESTAURANTS. WATCH PARKING SIGNS AND FEED THE METER ACCORDINGLY.
